Brandon Blevins, Wind Program Coordinator, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy

Brandon works to help coordinate and operate several campaigns and programs involved in bringing wind energy to the Southeast. His primary responsibilities include managing the activities of the Tennessee Wind Working Group as well as working with a team to operate Wind Powering America’s Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Regional Wind Energy Institute (RWEI), while providing support to other wind energy activities across the Southeast. Brandon joined SACE following his graduation at the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in Environmental Studies in 2006. In addition to his work in wind energy, he wrote and published “A Homeowner’s Guide to Clean and Efficient Energy in East Tennessee” in the summer of 2006, a project funded by the Alcoa Foundation. In 2008, he was part of a SACE wind team that was presented with The Department of Energy Wind Powering America’s Eastern Regional Wind Advocacy Award.
