Solar energy, radiant light and heat from the sun, has been harnessed by humans since ancient times using a range of ever-evolving technologies. We use the solar energy every day in many different ways. When we hang laundry outside to dry in the sun, we are using the solar heat to do work, drying our clothes. Plants use the solar light to make food. Good information. Thanks to Dr. Stephen and A. Smith for this content. One thing I would like to add that is Geothermal Heat Pump.

Solar Energy is often viewed as a set of niche applications, with useful, but limited potential. However it is probably the only long-term supply-side energy solution that is both large enough and acceptable enough to sustain the planet’s long term requirements.
