I guess I should be grateful that Progress Energy is being more honest about rate increases: <b>"You know, no matter what happens in policy space, electric prices are going to go up in the future."</b> (<a href="http://www.newsobserver.com/business/story/1539253.html" rel="nofollow">William Johnson, CEO, Progress Energy</a>, at National Press Club, May 2009) All the more reason we need to strengthen and pass ACES, to drive energy efficiency, right? Even as energy prices increase, we can shrink our overall bill with meaningful energy efficiency improvements. Wow, this is so offensive on so many levels.

I guess I should be grateful that Progress Energy is being more honest about rate increases:
